Only a few villa properties on the island are located directly on a beach. Beachfront properties are expensive and require a high level of maintenance, subsquently most beachfront properties on St. Maarten or St. Martin are large hotels and resorts, condo or timeshare complexes, or upscale high priced vacation villas in prestigious Terres Basses. On this web display we feature some of the few condo/apartment beachfront rentals that are yet affordable. With a few exceptions such as Villa Matisse on Orient Beach, these units are situated either on the beach in Grand Case, or on Simpson Bay.
