Rates are in US Dollars per week for 2 people. Additional person at extra charge. Max. occupancy: 4 guests. Rates INCLUDE TAX. A $300 deposit is required for a firm reservation. Full payment is due in cash on arrival. To protect our property against damage or loss, we ask for a refundable security deposit of $300 in cash on arrival day. It will be returned on your departure, if all is ok in the unit.

DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT HIBISCUS
The Hibiscus Apartment is located on the French side of Oyster Pond, East of the island, near the invisible border to Sint Maarten. It is situated within the residential complex of "Residence Blue Beach " that consists of some 20-25 Creole-styled Bungalows. |
This cozy vacation rental is ideal for a cost-conscious couple and fits also for a family with one or two small children, looking for a low-key, family-type place to travel to St. Martin the frugal way.
The fully air-conditioned Hibiscus Apartment consists of one bedroom/bath and a living room with kitchenette. It offers great comfort at a great location between the Caribbean sea and the natural harbor of Captain Oliver's Marina on Oyster Pond.

The Hibiscus Apartment is the ground floor unit in above pictured Bungalow. The unit is of 50 m² (540 ft²) of size, is fully furnished and well equipped. It comes with a lovely private patio with garden view.

The Hibiscus Apartment is the ground floor unit in the same Bungalow as the 2nd floor  Apartment Coconut for rent from the same owners catering to the growing number of budget oriented travelers of St. Martin. The Coconut and The Hibiscus apartments can be booked together making it a great affordable option for two couples traveling together but seeking privacy for each.  More rentals at Blue Beach, as well as a villa above Oyster Pond are for rent from the same owners.

Well known Captain Oliver's Marina is just 100 yards down the road from the Blue Beach complex. At the marina, there are a few bars, restaurants and a grocery store. You may also want to hop in a water taxi at Captain Oliver's that takes you to pristine Dawn Beach. Opposite direction, at a few hundred yards, is secluded Coralita Beach and some more s & restaurants and grocery stores.

Linens and bath towels are provided and changed once per week. Maid service can be arranged for more often, on your request and for a fee.

Guests of the Hibiscus Apartment have access to the beautiful large communal pool at the Blue Beach residence. The pool grants a great view over the Oyster Bay area towards the sea and St. Barth's.
Next to the pool is a sun deck with lounge chairs for quiet relaxation and sunbathing. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool. All communal areas are set amidst very beautiful lush tropical gardens. |

The pool area overlooks the sea, a part of Oyster Bay Resort to the right, and the natural reserve of "Babbit Point" to the left (see hill in the above picture).
Guests of the Hibiscus are free to use the pool in the center of the Blue Beach Residence. As only a few people have access, you rarely share the pool with other folks.

The Oyster Pond area is the right spot for people who look for a more remote, quiet and picturesque area with no crowds and no traffic that you find elsewhere on the island. Yet the main things for daily life are all in close proximity: grocery stores, a supermarket, an art gallery, a few local bars, a Casino, restaurants, a pizza place (popular "Mama Pizza"), boat excursions and water sports.

The Blue Beach complex is only 100 yards from Captain Oliver's Marina This long established marina at the border between Sint Maarten and St. Martin is well known within the community of boating people for the mooring facilities, hotel and waterfront restaurant, as well as "The Dinghy Dock" bar with its very popular Happy Hour, grocery stores, boutiques, boat charters and excursions.
The Hibiscus is close to Dawn Beach (3 min. drive away or take the water taxi at Captain Oliver's) and Coralita Beach (in walking distance). For duty free shopping, Philipsburg is a 15 min drive away. Same distance to Orient Beach for a fun filled day on the island's most popular beach. Activities in the area include Jet ski, sailing, parasailing, diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, excursions and fishing. For your entertainment at nighttime, the casino of the Westin Resort is at a 5 min drive.

The Hibiscus is located on the French side of Oyster Pond in the residential complex of "Residence Blue Beach". Its 20-25 Bungalows are easy to recognize by their blue roofs. The complex is fenced-in and has a code secured gate and parking. The Blue Beach Residence is in a quiet and scenic area on the East coast of St. Martin between Dawn Beach and quiet Coralita Beach. A great location between the Marina and the Caribbean sea!

The Coconut is conveniently located to explore the nearby Marina and two beaches in proximity. Several Restaurants in Oyster Pond can be reached on foot or are only minutes away by car. |

Dawn Beach at Mr. Busby's looking to The Westin
Mr. Busby's Beach Bar is the most popular place on pristine Dawn Beach and known for great breakfasts and for ribs, burgers, sandwiches etc. at lunchtime. |
Coralita Beach is in walking distance from the Blue Beach Residence (400 yards). This secluded beach will be perfect for you if you look for a very quiet beach, which is also used for "au natural" sun bathing. Coralita is little visited and is not serviced.
 
Coralita Beach is usually very little visited, mostly by residents of the area.
Palm trees at the former Coralita Beach Hotel provide shade and a nice setting!
