The cozy townhouse Villa Menorca #5 is situated amidst the quaint Creole-style village at Orient Bay. It is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath Gingerbread home, a property within the cute "Résidence Menorca" that consists of some 15 Caribbean-type homes with a shared pool and sun deck in the center of the complex. For those of you who know Orient Bay from previous visits: Menorca is located between the two roundabouts at Orient Village, at 100 yards from the marketplace. The big pro of Villa Menorca is not only its competitive introductory rates, but the great location. Everything of Orient Bay is within walking distance. The most popular beach of St. Martin, beach bars, restaurants, boutiques and water sports are all only footsteps away.

The balance is due on arrival day.

You will not necessarily need a rental car. You can walk to the beach and the marketplace in the village, both are a mere 100-200 yards further down the road. Have a fun filled day on Orient Bay! Enjoy a great time at the many casual lounge & beach bars lined up on the beach. When you've enough of the beach, dip in the refreshing swimming pool or take a quiet sunbath on the lounge chairs at Menorca's pool deck. Or enjoy the Caribbean garden and the privacy on your porch or veranda at Villa Menorca!

On ground floor, the two-level villa features a patio to the front of the house and a nice covered dining terrace in the backyard. The dining area is equipped with Teak furniture seating 6 guests and is a nice shady place with view of the garden and the pool area. The flooring of the terrace and the entire house is very nicely done with European quality tiles.

The kitchen at Villa Menorca is very nice in blue and white colors,
neat, clean and very well equipped including:

• a full size refrigerator with freezer
• an electric oven and stove with 4 cooktops
• a microwave
• a dishwasher
• a washing machine for your convenience
• coffee maker, toaster and water kettle
• very nice set of glasses, china, crockery and tableware
• All necessary kitchen and cooking utensils are supplied.

For your entertainment in the living area, CD and stereo amenities await you, as well a a flat screen TV with Satellite service featuring French and a few US channels.

The owners recently refurbished and redecorated the living room. The photos to the left and right show the current room, now kept in the vibrant colors of the Caribbean. New is also free WiFi Internet access, bring your laptop or notebook to hook up!

Two bedrooms and a large veranda are upstairs at Villa Menorca

Upstairs at Villa Menorca are the two bedrooms and two private bathrooms with shower. Charming French doors open to the veranda with a view over the village.

There are also shutters to dim the bright sunlight and keep the house cool, although both bedrooms feature split level Air-conditioning. Both bedrooms at Villa Menorca #5 are bedded with a Queen bed with quality mattresses. One of the bedrooms features also a safety deposit box in the closet. You will certainly like the vaulted ceiling in both upper floor bedrooms. It provides such a nice feeling of more space and intimacy, just like sleeping in your own little cottage.

Guests at the villa are entitled to use the communal pool facilities of the Residence Menorca. Facilities include a large fresh water pool (fenced in
for child protection), as well as lounge chairs on the pool deck.

As to services at the villa, a good supply of bath towels and also fine linens are provided (bring your own beach towels though), and cleaning of the property on check-out day is included in a weekly rental fee. Maid service can be arranged for at a fee of $45/day. Parking lots in front of the villa are free.

Villa Menorca #5 is a cozy Creole-style townhouse within the Residence Menorca, a complex of colorful Gingerbread homes located in the center of charming Orient Village, on the French side of St. Martin.

Activities on Orient Beach:
Parasailing, jet ski, hobbie cat (small catamaran's), kayaks, sailing, wind surfing, kite surfing, diving, snorkeling, floating trampolines, banana boat rides, massages on the beach,horseback riding , well... or just swimming in crystal clear waters...

There are also some attractions very near to Orient Village: the ferry station in French Cul-de-Sac for a "day off" at the tropical dream beach of Pinel Island is 10 min. by car. The Butterfly Farm at Le Galion is about the same distance away, opposite direction. As to dining out, many of the finest restaurants of St. Martin are in Grand Case, also at 10 min. from Villa Menorca.

Orient Beach on the Northern coast of the island is the best serviced and most popular beach of St. Martin. It is a +2 mile white sand beach, great for a swim, snorkeling, water sports or entertaining at one of the many beach bars, snack bars, lounges and restaurants lined up along the beach.
