Sol é Luna is situated in the northern part of the island, in the French Mt. Vernon/Cul du Sac region, midway between the villages of Grand Case and Orient Bay. Each is a 5 minutes drive away. The villa-like building is on a hillside overlooking a former salt pond to Orient Bay and on to St. Barth's.The restaurant of the same name anchors the family run facility that consists of a collection of 6 studios and suites terraced on the hillside above the restaurant.
The design is Mediterranean with great attention to detail in the use of stone, galets and tiles, wrought iron, wooden shuttered doors and windows. Each of the six units is different and carefully decorated to give a flavor of the Caribbean. Gated parking and free WiFi Internet access is provided on the property.

Description Sol e Luna
This intimate, Inn-style property is known for its quiet and peaceful location, beautiful architecture, and sense of style in each of the six rooms. Each unit is different, but all offer A/C, cable TV, a bathroom with shower, and more or less cooking facilities. The 4 suites feature a king size bed, whereas the studios have either a Queen bed (studio Coco Tiare), or a set of twin beds that can make a King (Cannelle). All rooms have either a terrace, a balcony or a patio, and access to the pool. The pool, in the center of the property, is small but made private with lush surrounding landscaping.
This property is the perfect place for honeymooners and for people who look for an intimate, unique and stylish place, for a girlfriend getaway, or for a memorable vacation in a romantic setting, off-the-beaten path ! |
The Suite Nacre features a beautiful covered patio with a tiled jacuzzi and outdoor kitchenette, all surrounded by the gorgeous gardens of Sol e Luna.
Suites Nacre and Jasmine are located on the first level above the restaurant, the others are one more level up. They are reached by a climb of one or two flights of stone stairs, thus the property is not suitable for people with disabilities or families with young children. |

Suite Nacre
The Suite Nacre is the first unit at the corner after the first flight of stone stairs. This intimate room is quite spacious and features A/C, a King size bed with fine French linen, Cable TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a large sink and shower. But it is not the romantic interior that makes Suite Nacre so popular to guests! Definitely, it's the beautiful patio that makes the suite so special. The covered patio comes with an outdoor kitchenette, sitting and dining area and a private jacuzzi, set amidst the lush vegetation.

This beautiful Suite is the favorite of our guests. It has A/C, a King sized bed, Cable TV, a stylish en-suite bathroom with shower and a large dressing area. The Suite offers various outdoor spaces: There is a covered patio with an outdoor kitchenette and dining area at the entrance of the suite, plus a lounge area and covered terrace, plus a private sundeck with sun beds overlooking the sea and the Pond.

This quaint small unit comes with A/C, Cable TV, a Queen size bed with beautiful fine linen, and a small kitchenette outside on the balcony overlooking the pool, the sea and the Etang de Chevrise. You will enjoy sitting on your own private balcony and the views from there!
The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator (minibar size), a coffee maker and a microwave. The bathroom with shower is of the same beautiful Mediterranean-style as the other units, with marble tiles and galets, and quality fixtures.

This cozy Studio Cinnamon (the English word for 'Cannelle') in Chocolate colors has A/C, Cable TV, a safe, and a set of twin beds that can make a king. It has connecting doors to the Suite Mango, and is the perfect room to accommodate two older children or grown-ups, traveling with parents, who would stay in the adjoining Suite Mango.

There is a panoramic window and a tiny balcony off the main room to enjoy the splendid views of the pool, the pond and the sea. The bathroom is large, has 2 sinks, and is painted in strong coral red. It has many fine details, such as mirrors in the same rounded shape as the windows of the suite, and marble and galets (small stone tiles) throughout.
