It's a short stroll from your Sunset Hill rental (approx. 400 yards) to get to some of the island's most popular places and night clubs like "The Bliss" discotheque, "Sunset Beach Bar", or shopping and the casinos in Maho. Sunset Beach bar is the best spot to watch the landing and departing of jets and airplanes at just a few feet above your head! One of the "Must see's" during your visit to the island!

Although the building doesn't offer a particular view, it enjoys the advantage of the proximity to the beautiful beach, which is just across the street and easily accessible on a pathway. |
These three Sunset Hill Apartments are located at the Southern end of Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of the island, at 50 yards from the beach, which is locally known as "Burgeaux Bay". The brand new, small complex of three units is only a few hundred yards from famous Maho Beach, located the opposite direction. The Sunset Hill Apartments are a perfect location for those vacationers who look for fun and action during their stay on St. Maarten. Shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and the most active nightlife and casinos of Maho, Cupecoy and Simpson Bay are all near by.

Terms
Rates are in US Dollars per week for 2 to 4 people. Regular Rates are subjet to 9% tax and service charge. Current special does include all taxes. Daily maid service Mon-Sat. is included in rental. A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. Payments can be made per wire transfer or per check. (payment per credit card soon!)

The complex is a brand new building, completed in February of 2009. It consists of 3 adjoining, finely appointed units on split level. All three units have the same size, floor-plan, modern amenities and furnishing. |

On the ground floor of each unit are the kitchen, dining and living room, the laundry, and a half bath. Outside, there is a private patio and dining area in front of each unit, and a porch to the rear of the house. On the upper floor are the two self contained Queen sized bedrooms, and their private en-suite bathrooms. |

All three kitchens in the units are exactly the same. They are very well equipped and feature top quality stainless steel appliances.

The Sunset Hill Apartments comprise a spacious open concept living area. On one side is the very well equipped new kitchen. It opens to the dining area that adjoins the living room with its comfortable corner seating. There is basically one difference between the three units: the corner apartments I + III feature a window in the dining and seating area, which apartment II doesn't have.

The floor plan and amenities on the 1st floor is exactly the same in all 3 apartments: They all have a new kitchen, dining area and living room.

The fully equipped kitchen features modern furnishing and stainless steel appliances. Each kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, an electric oven and gas BBQ grill, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and the usual kitchen utensils, glassware, dinnerware, crockery etc. for making and serving meals.

The living room in each Sunset Hill unit has a comfortable corner seating area. The best spot to chat with your family or friends, or to watch TV on a wide flat screen mounted on the shelf. There is also a stereo system and VCR/DVD-player for your entertainment. |

The half bath on the ground floor
In addition to the two en-suite bathrooms on the upper floor, there is a very nicely done half bath conveniently located on the lower floor, off the hallway.
In the 2nd bathroom
Each bathroom comes with a large mirror, a sink and a stall shower. The bathrooms are very nicely tiled and feature some nice extras such as fixtures and fittings or mosaics.
There is a full supply of linen, towels and beach towels, provided in each unit. Daily maid service Mon-Sat. is included in your rental fee, thus making sure to keep the apartmetns in a neat and clean condition!

The bedrooms
Each Sunset Hill apartment consists of two self contained bedrooms on the upper floor. Each of the good sized bedrooms is equipped with a Queen sized bed, a large closet and air-conditioning.

The bathrooms of the Sunset Hill Apartments are very nicely done! Both full bathrooms on the upper floor are en-suite and are equipped with a hair dryer.

| The Sunset Hill Apartments are located on the Southern, Dutch side of St. Maarten between the western end of Simpson Bay and Maho Beach. Although the name may indicate otherwise, there is absolutely no hill whatsoever in this particular area of St. Maarten. It is a plain area, locally known for its beach as "Burgeaux Bay" or called "Beacon Hill" for the main road that leads through this purely residential area. The shopping, restaurant and gambling district of Maho is a short walk or 2 min. drive by car. The busy "downtown" Simpson Bay area is a 5 minutes drive. If you take the opposite direction, heading West, you'd pass through the prestigious community of Terres Basses/The Lowlands and be in the French capital Marigot in about a 10 minutes drive. |
