The brand new Bay View Condo (completed in 2009) is located at the Southern tip of Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of the island. The one bedroom/one bath 2-level apartment is a very short walk away from the beach, which has become better known to the public only in the recent months thanks to a new trendy beach bar called "The Karakter" that opened mid 2009 on Simpson Bay.

All furniture, equipment and appliances are new as of 01/2010. The unit is tiled throughout with beautiful white quality tiles. The condo is designed in calm light color tones, combined with refined decoration and comfortable amenities.

LOCATION OF THE BAY VIEW CONDO |
The Bay View Condo is located on the Southern Dutch side of St. Maarten between the western end of Simpson Bay and Maho Beach. The area is known by the name of "Beacon Hill" named after the main road that passes through this residential neighborhood. Although the name may indicate otherwise, there is no hill in this area of Sint Maarten. It is a plain area, locally also known for its beach as "Burgeaux Bay", but many people say it's a part of Simpson Bay Beach.
The shopping, restaurant and gambling district of Maho is a short walk or a 2 min. drive by car. The busy "downtown" Simpson Bay area is a 5 minutes drive away. If you take the road to the opposite direction, heading West, you will pass through the prestigious community of Terres Basses/The French Lowlands and will be in the French capital of Marigot in about a 10 minutes ride.
When you stay at the Bay View Condo, don't miss to go to the beach bars on Maho Beach for the thrill of watching airplanes landing and departing just above your head! This is also a great spot for watching sunset.

It's a short stroll from your Bay View condo to get to the Karakter beach and tapas bar on Simpson Bay. This new beach club opened in summer of 2009 and developed quickly into a new trendy hangout. This casual and laid back spot made also this rather unknown section of Simpson Bay better known to the local community and tourists alike, especially for its Friday night live Jazz music and Sundays for a casual lunch there and afternoon on the beach.
Other popular places are also a short walk away, such as "Mary's Boon Plantation (great for Sunday brunch - just next door to The Karakter), or the Sunset Beach bar or night club and discotheque "The Bliss" on Maho Beach.
