This elegant rental is a newly refurbished and renovated one bedroom apartment, available for rent since summer 2008. The luxury and elegant unit consists of a large living room with sleeper sofa, A/C, and balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and an air-conditioned bedroom on the sleeper loft. |

The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of the "Tap Five" complex, just across the street from St. Martin's well known "Orient Village" in the heart of Orient Bay. The most popular beach of the island - Orient Beach - is only 50 yards away from the unit.

APARTMENT " THE PEARL OF ORIENT BAY "
You'll need less than a minute from this centrally located apartment to walk over to the white powdery sand for a splendid day on Orient Beach. Just to relax, for a swim or do some people watching, or, if you are more into an active beach life, you'll find it on this beach as well. Orient Beach is well serviced (there are hundreds of beach chairs and umbrellas!), and offers water sports such as parasailing, jet ski, wind surfing, diving, hobby cats, floating trampolines and horseback riding along the coast.
Pearl of Orient Bay is centrally located, and you will not need a car if you plan to stick to the Orient Bay area during your vacation. The Pearl is a luxury, elegantly furnished, and air-conditioned one-bedroom apartment. It is of some 60 m² (645 ft²) of size and was thoughtfully furnished and decorated in modern style by the French owner couple. The living room boasts fine black leather furniture, free WiFi, a wide screen Satellite TV and CD entertainment unit, completed by contemporary paintings on the walls. Wide sliding doors open to the private balcony overlooking Orient Village.
Enjoy sipping on a tropical cocktail on the balcony, and watch the coming and going on Orient Village with its laid-back atmosphere. It's just across from The Pearl. There are a several restaurants, bars, boutiques, a beauty salon, a grocery store and a French bakery. On Friday nights in high season, the Village becomes lively with a life music band and a street market set up on the square. |

The elegant living room features fine black leather furniture and a convertible day bed to accommodate 1 or 2 additional guests in the apartment (preferably children). The living room has a wide screen TV set receiving French and US Satellite channels. Free WiFi Internet access is available throughout the apartment. |
| On the other side of the living room is the fully furnished kitchen. It is brand new and equipped with all modern appliances. On the same level as the living room and kitchen is also the full bathroom, which is very nicely tiled and painted in white and blue. |
| The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, coffee maker, gas cooktops, a toaster, a dishwasher, and all necessary kitchen utensils, dinner and glassware. |

| The bedroom is on the air-conditioned sleeper loft and is accessible by a ladder leading up from the living room. The bedroom has a French double bed and a pair of tasteful Pyramid-shaped wooden dressers. |

The bedroom is on the sleeper loft, on the so called "Mezzanine", and features A/C, a French double bed with an elegant leather headboard, Pyramid-shaped wooden dressers and a small study area. |

The Pearl of Orient Bay comes with a safety deposit box for your valuables. Linen, towels and beach towels are provided, and housekeeping is taken care for by the owners.

Location of Pearl of Orient Bay
 Orient Beach, the "St. Tropez of the Caribbean" is located on the Northern, French side of St. Martin. It is a beautiful 2+ mile curve of white sand beach lined with beach bars, restaurants, shops, and a variety of water sports. The Southeastern section of the beach, near Club Orient, is dedicated to naturists, whereas to the middle and to the North, it' s a typical family beach. At the charming market square of Orient Village, there are a few more bars and restaurants, and some activities are going on, usually combined with live music on Friday nights.
| Some of the best and finest restaurants are in Grand Case, the "Gourmet Capital" of the Caribbean. This Creole village is a 10 minutes drive from Pearl of Orient Bay. Another 10 minutes will take you to the French capital of Marigot for shopping for fashion, gourmet items or a night out at Marigot's Marina Royale. |

Situated in the small complex of "Tap Five" at the end of the main road to the beach, Pearl of Orient Bay has access to a communal swimming pool, which is shared with L'Hoste Hotel.
