This new little island paradise is located within a private property on the hillside at Mont Vernon III, a new residential development on the Northern French side of St. Martin, about one mile from Orient Beach.

Separated from the owners home located on the same compound, the Cottage was designed with the charm and tradition of an Antillean home in mind, while adding some particular stylish and modern touches to it. The French owners wanted this place to be casual, easy to live in, open and airy, and comfortable for hosting parents, children, or grand-parents alike.

The exterior areas include a covered terrace with patio Teak chairs and a sofa at the lounge, a Teak dining area and a sun deck with loungers. The latest addition to the Cottage is a private Jacuzzi   on the garden encircled sun deck, shaded by an umbrella and palm trees.

The Cottage of Villa d'O is set amidst a tranquil tropical garden, a perfect setting for quiet relaxation for a couple. The Villa offers one bedroom with a King bed, but there is also space for a family, as there is a sleeper loft above the living room, thus the Cottage can accommodate up to 5 people at very moderate rates!

Surrounded by the tropical garden, you will also enjoy the peaceful setting of the Cottage at nighttime, be it in the Jacuzzi, at the lounge or when dining al fresco!

The living room is a modern, functional bright and airy room. It comes with high vaulted ceiling, and is decorated with a few selected decorative pieces and accessories. There is also a desk and a (removable) ladder to access the loft.

The air-conditioned living room is the corner room on the left side of The Cottage with several large sliding doors, so you can either enter the kitchen/dining area from here or from the covered terrace.

The living room and its Mezzanine are air-conditioned and feature a flat screen TV with Satellite service, DVD-player and stereo, a desk, and a comfortable corner seating sofa.

The Mezzanine

The open sleeper loft (Mezzanine) in the rafters consists of two areas. On one side is the sleeping area with three twin beds to accommodate additional guests. On the other side of the Mezzanine is some storage space and a couple of chairs.

The left side of The Cottage comprises the kitchen and the dining area with a Teak table seating 6 guests.

The kitchen and dining area form one open space. It is like sitting al fresco on a verandah. You'll get a great feel for the Caribbean way of living outdoors!

The kitchen is very functional and fully equipped including a dishwasher, 4 burner gas stove, microwave, a large refrigerator with ice-maker and freezer, and a new Nespresso coffee maker. In the kitchen is also a washer.

All necessary cooking utensils, kitchen- and tableware are provided to host 6 guests.

The air-conditioned bedroom is bedded with a King bed and designed with functional furniture and accessories that fit to the overall tranquil ambiance of The Cottage. This peaceful room is kept in light colors and painted in a warm gray.

THE COTTAGE HAS ONE BEDROOM WITH A/C AND A KING BED

The bedroom at The Cottage opens to the terrace and is just steps away from the new Jacuzzi and private sun deck in the garden. To accommodate more than one couple, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room and space on the sleeper loft/Mezzanine equipped with 3 twin beds.

The Bathroom is located to the rear of the bedroom with double entrances from both, the bedroom and from the living room.

The bathroom opens up on one side onto an open-air kind of patio, making each shower a special experience of the casual lifestyle in a Caribbean tropical environment!
Fine natural stones, galets (polished small rocks) and granite-type pebbles were used to build this unique and exquisite bathroom! It can be entered from two sides - the living room and from the bedroom.
