Villa Agave is a secluded, out-of-the-ordinary two-bedroom villa situated in the upscale gated community of Terres Basses, the Lowlands on the French side of the island. The owner is very much inspired from Morocco, thus he gave his unique property a predominantly oriental touch in form of Moroccan metal art and accessories, stunning mosaics, oriental furniture and decoration completed by exotic plants and flower pots.

A large private pool invites for relaxation and for enjoying the serenity and tranquility at the villa. The views at the pool and at the new, very large surrounding wooden deck are stunning: on one side you see the Simpson Bay Lagoon and the mountains of St. Martin. On the other side, there are the Caribbean Sea and the scenic hills of Terres Basses.

With cool whitewashed and orange-golden walls inside, and Bordeaux red walls outside, a very spacious, high ceiling family room, spectacular views, beautiful interiors, luxury amenities, this two-bedroom villa marries traditional Moroccan style with a modern sense of space and luxury. Elements like terra-cotta tiles, Moroccan lamps and lanterns, rugs and fabrics helped to create the mystique of the Oriental look.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of a huge tropical garden, Villa Agave 's relaxing ambience will make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The villa offers ample outdoor entertainment and living areas. Behind the facilities on the newly built lower deck, there is now also a golf driving range. Lot's of amenities that you won't find elsewhere!

In 2008 and 2009, the owner of Villa Agave did some major upgrades to the villa, especially at the outdoor areas, but also by adding an independent studio efficiency on one side of the pool deck. The lower level of the villa is entirely new and holds now a 2nd deck with plenty of outdoor facilities to choose from for your entertainment.

Some of the newest features of the outdoor areas include two cabanas equipped with massage tables, a Jacuzzi, some gym equipment, a "petanque" field (metal ball game played on a sand field. A very popular game with French people...), and a bar just next to the field.

The elegant Villa features a large family room, completely equipped kitchen, a dining area and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

On the main floor of the villa is the beautiful kitchen that is open to both, the inside living area and the covered terrace. The kitchen and lounging area also feature very nice views of the hills and the Simpson Bay Lagoon.

Villa Agave has multiple seating areas indoor and at the exterior living areas. One of it is on the covered terrace next to the kitchen. A perfect place to entertain your people or to have an afternoon snack overlooking the pool area and the Caribbean sea of Plum Bay beyond.

The interior of the designer home resembles a Moroccan villa complete with several outdoor decks, lounge areas and covered terraces, laid out with dining and sitting areas, lounge chairs, a very private pool and a Jacuzzi/hot tub. The concept of the villa was designed to enjoy Caribbean outdoor living to the full extend.

The kitchen, complete with new, stainless steel appliances, is located next to actually two lounge areas on the covered terrace. Inside, the kitchen opens to the living room on one side, and the formal dining area to the other side.

This main level of the house comprises a spacious living area with high ceiling and plenty of seating areas, a kitchen bar counter, completed by modern amenities such as Satellite TV, DVD, stereo and a CD player, as well as Internet connection.

All these interior living areas form one large open plan family space. All rooms and accommodations are stylishly appointed with an exotic selection of furnishings and decor, beautiful mosaics and tiles, traditional Moroccan rugs, fabrics and decoration.

And outdoors, there are more facilities waiting for you - on the lower deck of the villa! There is a golf driving range on premises, an open air gym, the Jacuzzi, and - as you are in France - you'll even find a petanque field for your entertainment.

Ambiance abounds as you enter the spacious living room, the family room of the villa. This large open concept room opens to the upper deck with its spectacular views.

Note that upstairs at Villa Agave is a loft, the "Mezzanine'", accessible by a free hanging stairway from the living room. These stairs are not suitable for young children. The Mezzanine is actually locked as it holds some personal belongings of the owner.

Summer Season 15 April - 14 December:	$2,800 per week
Winter Season 15 December - 14 April:	$3,900 per week
Christmas / New Year's week:	$4,800 per week

Villa Agave offers two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms located on the main level of the house. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, are bedded with a King sized bed and feature a closet or wardrobe armoire.

Each of the two bedrooms has its unique, open en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower on one side, and a beautifully tiled and mosaic styled bowl sink on the other side.

One bedroom is to the front of the villa and opens to the deck with the great view of Simpson Bay Lagoon. The other bedroom is located to the rear of the house, on your left when you enter the house.
