Villa Agave is a totally secluded, out-of-the-ordinary private villa situated in the upscale and gated community of Terres Basses, on the French side of the island. Both, the owner and the architect of the house have been inspired from Morocco, and added oriental touches to this unique place in form of exotic plants and flower pots, stunning mosaics, Moroccan metal art decor and furniture.

Elements like terra-cotta tiles, Moroccan lamps and lanterns, rugs and fabrics helped to create the mystique of the Oriental look. With cool whitewashed and orange-golden walls inside, and Bordeaux red walls outside, a spacious, high ceiling family room, spectacular views, beautiful interiors and decor, luxury amenities, this property marries traditional Moroccan style with a modern sense of space and luxury. The villa features vast entertainment and living areas and plenty of relaxing and sunbathing space in absolute privacy.

Living at Villa Agave

On the main floor of the villa is the beautiful Gourmet kitchen that opens to both, the deck and the covered terrace. It also features beautiful views of the hills and mountains, and the Simpson Bay Lagoon beyond.

The kitchen, complete with new, stainless steel appliances, is located next to a shaded sitting area on the covered terrace and opens to the living room on one side and the dining table to the other side.

Villa Agave has multiple sitting areas. One is on the covered terrace and is a perfect place to entertain people or have an afternoon snack. This sitting area is next to the large private pool with view of the Caribbean sea.

The elegant Villa features a large family room, completely equipped kitchen, a dining area and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the main level of the house. The second floor is a large open loft space, called a "Mezzanine". On the lower level of the villa is a brand new deck and an area with outdoor facilities. The owner built it in 2007, and added the Jacuzzi, some gym equipment, a"Petanque" field, a bar and a golf driving range to that area.

The living room at Villa Agave

On the main level of the house is the high ceiling living room with plenty of seating, a bar counter, Satellite TV, DVD, stereo and a CD player for your entertainment. There is also the gourmet kitchen and the dining area. All these areas form one large open plan family space. All rooms and accommodations are stylishly appointed with an exotic selection of furnishings and decor, stunning mosaics and tiles, traditional Moroccan rugs, fabrics and decoration.

On the upper level is a loft space, on the so called "Mezzanine'", which is accessible by a free hanging stairway. Note: The stairs leading up to the Mezzanine are not suitable for young children. The Mezzanine is not for guests' use and is locked for storing personal belongings of the owner.

Ambiance abounds as you enter the large living room. This area opens to the deck with its spectacular views.

The interior of the designer home resembles a Moroccan villa complete with several decks, patios and covered terraces, laid out with dining and sitting areas, lounge chairs, a very private pool and a Jacuzzi/hot tub. The concept of the villa was designed to enjoy Caribbean outdoor living to the full extend. And there are more outdoor facilities waiting for you on the lower deck of the villa! There is a golf driving range on premises, an open air gym, and - as you are in France - you'll even find a petanque field for your entertainment!

Both air-conditioned King sized bedrooms are located on the main level of the house. One bedroom opens to the deck and the great view of Simpson Bay Lagoon. The other bedroom is located to your left when you enter the house.
Each of the two bedrooms has its unique, open en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower on one side, and a beautifully tiled and mosaic style sink on the other side. The restroom with toilet is separate from both bedrooms and both bathrooms. It is accessible from the living room.
