Villa Alicia is only a hundred yards from attractive Guana Bay beach that can be easily reached on a footpath. The location is on the eastern, Dutch side of the island. A hop of less than 10 minutes over the hill takes you to the Dutch capital Philipsburg for fabulous duty free shopping, beach bars on Great Bay and restaurants, entertainment and several casinos. A 10 minutes drive in the opposite direction, and you are at picturesque Oyster Pond Marina or on the fine sand beach of Dawn Beach. 10 more minutes, and you are on Orient Beach, probably the best known beach in the Caribbean.

The house has a new air conditioning system, new sliding doors and shutters, and many more new items leave the impression of a new villa. The caring American owner Alicia invested a lot of time and effort in the past year to upgrade and refurbish this vacation home, both inside and outside. |

The open floor plan living room was recently refurbished, is air-conditioned, and furnished with a beautiful new set of Caribbean-style couch and chairs. There is a large screen cable TV (US-channels), a CD-player and Stereo to entertain yourself. The living room opens directly onto the balcony overlooking the sea. |

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all modern appliances to make your "dine-in" days enjoyable. It has a dishwasher, microwave, gas oven, stove, a full size refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster and blender, and all necessary kitchen utensils. |

The dining area adjoins the kitchen and seats for guests. This area has sliding doors out to the balcony, so you can sip on your morning coffee or sun-downer and step out on your private balcony to enjoy the views. As the villa is facing east, you can sea most spectacular sunrises, if you are an early-riser. |

Villa Alicia is situated in a small, purely residential community, called "GEO Guana Bay Villas", a quiet oceanfront community of 18 hexagon (six-side) villas of the same style that have been designed by an innovative Canadian architect some 12-15 years ago. The villas are on a gentle hill overlooking the blue and turquoise waters of the Atlantic over to St Barth's and some uninhabited neighboring islands.

The Pool
The shared pool and sun deck with loungers and chairs are only a few steps from Villa Alicia. The pool is generously sized in the same hexagon shape of the surrounding villas and features beautiful ocean views on one side, and views of the beach to the other side.

Villa Alicia has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is located off the living room, on the left side. It has a King sized bed, A/C, ceiling fan and its own cable TV set. The villa is ideal for two couples as there is total privacy from one floor with the master bedroom to the other floor with the guest bedroom. There is a wooden stairway from the first to the 2nd floor, and a door that closes this area off from the living room to create a completely private space for the guests on the second floor. |

The full bathroom of the master bedroom is private (separate door), with blue tiles, a pedestal sink, and a fully tiled shower. The bath of the guest bedroom looks exactly the same. |

The guest bedroom is on the second floor. It is air conditioned, has a ceiling fan, a King sized bed, and a tv set. The private bath of the guest bedroom is identical to the one of the master bedroom. It has blue tiles, a pedestal sink and a tiled shower. |
The bath of the guest bedroom is located on the bottom of the stairway that leads up from the first floor to the bedroom.
