The terrace
This St. Martin villa is a 'dream come true' vacation spot. The 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, very private and secluded villa sits on a slope overlooking Happy Bay, the last untouched beach of St Martin - St Maarten. The unobstructed views from the pool, the deck, the terrace and from almost every room of Villa Canoua are breathtaking. You'll have a panoramic view over Happy Bay Beach, the blue turquoise Caribbean sea, neighboring Anguilla and sailing boats occasionally passing by.

Good to know for families traveling with young children: the access to the pool can be secured for children by security gates on each side of the pool and the terrace. There is a footpath below the villa that takes you in 5 minutes to the unspoiled and secluded beach of Happy Bay, which is also one of the best snorkel spots on the island. |
The view
The villa features several outdoor sitting areas on each side of the pool, as well as on the covered terrace. The infinity pool, overlooking the Caribbean, has a good size of 4 x 8 m (14' by 26'). The pool and deck are very private and allow swimming and sunbathing "au natural".

Villa Canoua is situated in a quiet, gated residential area on Happy Bay. The tranquil vacation home features a lot of amenities at very attractive rates. Friar's Bay with its casual beach restaurants and Grand Case for fine dining and shopping are a very short drive away.

The tastefully designed kitchen opens to the living area on one side, and to the terrace to the other.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, top quality ceran cooktops, oven, microwave, a full size refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and more. The kitchen provides all the necessary amenities for a family style cooking. One of the kitchen counters serves as a bar,
completed by four bar stools. |

There is also an ice machine for your convenience, located in the facility room next to the kitchen. In the facility room you'll also find a washer/dryer, and an iron and iron board. All kitchen equipment and appliances are like new, and in excellent shape as they are constantly well maintained by the owners. |

Villa Canoua - the living room
The open plan living room with cathedral ceiling has a comfortable sitting area and US-Satellite TV channels, stereo, DVD and CD-player, as well as telephone and free Internet WiFi access.
The brown colored sofas and chairs (still to be seen on some
some photos) were recently replaced by grey furniture.
The villa owner's daughter contributed many handmade pieces of art & decoration to this unique and stylish place on Saint Martin. The living room has large sliding doors leading to the terrace and the pool. On the other side is the entrance door of the house and a porch with another sitting area that also holds a gas BBQ grill. There is also a guest restroom located at the entrance area.

Villa Canoua: The Master bedroom
Master Suite
Villa Canoua has an air-conditioned Master bedroom with a King sized bed, a safety deposit box, and an en-suite full bathroom with two sinks and a shower.
Both bedrooms of the villa have ample closet space, and
sliding doors leading out to the terrace and the pool.

Villa Canoua's en-suite Master bathroom is fully tiled, has two sinks and two large mirrors, granite countertops, and a large stall shower.
Villa Canoua: The guest bedroom
The 2nd bedroom has a set of twin beds that can be converted to a King size bed. This bedroom has its en-suite full bathroom as well. Both bedrooms open to the terrace and the pool and are furnished in contemporary Caribbean style.
