Villa Colibris
Villa Colibris is located in the upscale residential community of Park View on the hills above the western end of Orient Bay on the French side of the island .The location is very convenient to get to the most popular beach - Orient Beach, or to Grand Case for fine dining at one of its many excellent eateries. Both places are a mere 5 minutes drive away. At about the same distance is the 'ferry' boat station for picturesque Pinel Island, and the marina of prestigious Anse Marcel.

The 3 bedroom, 3 bath villa has a private pool and two larger outdoor areas. One is the terrace and deck that surrounds the pool and faces the sea (see pictures to the right). They provide stunning views of the blue, turquoise sea. On this main terrace you will also find a BBQ to prepare fresh fish, lobster or your favorite steak. |
The 2nd outdoor area is a porch to the rear of the villa, facing the beautiful tropical garden. Although the porch has no ocean view, it is the favorite spot for many of our guests.
The porch is the place where many guests like to stay in the afternoon, in the shade, for reading a good book, having a chat with the family or simply enjoy watching and listening to the birds at our lush garden. The birds actually gave the name to our villa. Colibris, the French word for hummingbirds, are indeed frequent visitors of our property.
Villa Colibris is a fenced in, hillside property that enjoys the trade winds in winter and a gentle breeze in summer that keeps humidity low and mosquitoes away from the home! Thanks to its location, Villa Colibris has a magnificent view of the sunrise. The nights are equally enchanting with the sparkling lights over Orient Bay.

The property features spectacular views of Orient Bay, the uninhabited small islands of Pinel and Tintamarre and of famous St. Barth's that you can see in the distance.

Although the property is facing East, on many days you can also watch spectacular sunsets with the clouds and skies over Orient Bay turning into purple, rose and red.
Villa Colibris - Living inside
The villa has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom has a Queen sized bed. From the living room the stairways leads up to the Mezzanine, a sleeper loft with 2 twin beds that can accommodate 2 children, thus making Villa Colibris suitable for parties of 6 to 8 people. On the Mezzanine is also a corner to watch TV or DVD's.

Villa Colibris features a complete kitchen with modern appliances, and a bar counter that opens to the pool & deck. Enjoy the great views from this spot. You have a panoramic view of Orient Bay and the lovely islands of Pinel and Tintamarre.
The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a Ceran stove, an oven, microwave, a full size refrigerator with freezer and ice-maker, a dishwasher, and all other kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware for dining in.

Rates are in US Dollar per week (7 nights) and are based upon 2 people per bedroom, thus up to 6 people. 2 more guests (children) can be accommodated in the twin beds on the sleeper loft. Please inquire for details. The weekly rate includes tax and service charge with maid service once per week.

Villa Colibris
Villa Colibris is located in the purely residential, quiet and secure new community of Park View, on the French side of the island. The property enjoys the comfort and advantages of a recently built home (completed in 2004). The owner couple lives on the island and takes very well care of both, their guests and their properties.
