The new and neat kitchen is perfectly made for a vacation home. It is very functional, thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. It offers a full size American refrigerator, an electric oven, a gas stove with 4 burner cooktops, a kitchen range, microwave, as well as various smaller household devices such as coffee maker, a toaster, and a blender.

French born Francis Eck chose St. Martin as the place to live and work more than a decade ago. In the recent years the artist gained international reputation mainly for his vibrant landscapes painted in a new expressionist style. |

Master Bedroom #1: A/C, King bed, closet, en-suite bath, patio with sea view Villa Lucie offers two fairly equally sized Master bedrooms, both with a King size bed, air-conditioning, ample closet space and an en-suite private bathroom. The third bedroom, also bedded with a King bed, was recently renovated and is now also available for guests.

Bedroom #3: A/C, King bed, closet, en-suite bath, patio with sea view The 3rd bedroom at Villa Lucie was completely renovated and newly furnished in summer of 2010. It is now bedded with a new King bed, has Air-conditioning, and just like all other rooms in the villa, this bedroom also features its own orginal paintings from Francis Eck!

The 3rd bedroom comes with a private little patio that offers a spectactular sea view over the Caribbean including the beach of Friar's Bay and the hills of Terres Basses. Watching sunsets from this spot is also gorgeous and a memorable experience! |

Villa Lucie sits on the southern side of the hill of Mont Choisy, better known as Happy Bay, half way between Marigot and Grand Case on the West coast of Saint Martin. The hilltop property overlooks Friar's Bay, situated just a few yards away, down the hill. The other side of Mt. Choisy faces Anguilla, the sea and Happy Bay Beach to the north. Although there is an unofficial footpath leading down the hill to the beach of Friar's Bay, we do not recommend to use it's it a rather steep and uncomfortable walk. |
Better take the car to get to Friar's Bay! You'll be there in less than 5 minutes. The road on Mt. Choisy is paved, only the last 300 yards to Friar's Bay is a bumpy dirt road. |

Friar's Bay is a very relaxed and laid-back picturesque beach with a fair amount of powdery white sand, fringed by sea grapes and palm trees. The bay is well protected from the swells and attracts also a few boats and yachts, especially on weekends. For its calm waters, Friar´s Bay is ideal for relaxing in French ambience. At its best at Friar's Bay Beach Cafe! This beach bar is in the middle of the beach, offers fine French Caribbean cuisine and a wide range of special menus, plus a friendly and efficient service. A great place to hang out and enjoy life! The breathtaking beach of Happy Bay is the last unspoiled and secluded beach of St. Martin! It is also one of the best snorkel spots of the island. Happy Bay can only be reached by foot or by boat. You can either walk along the coast at Friar's Bay, or take the shortcut at Mt Choisy. A few yards away from Villa Lucie, there is a gate to access the footpath down to Happy Bay Beach. Keys for the gate are only available to tenants of Mont Choisy. You will need a good 5 minutes to walk down to Happy Bay Beach. Back up the hill it's about a 10 minutes walk. Although not easy to reach, do not miss out on a visit of Happy Bay at least once during your stay; definitely worth it!
